Wow!!! What a place.  Franz Josef is a teeny tiny little tourist town with one main street. We stayed at a cute little motel about a 5 minute walk from the main street. We drove the 10 minute drive to the car park area and then walked the 40 minute walk to the glacier. It is just an unbelievable site to see. When we finished walking this day, the fitbit said 15,000 steps. Worth every step.
