The miracle wedding

My cousin Jamie is more like the sister I didn’t have. We don’t live near one another, we only get to see each other once or twice a year but that doesn’t matter.

She got married last weekend. All that is so great but without the miracle, there wouldn’t have been a happily ever after.

Marty is her guy. Her is super sweet and caring. He loves her. It’s obvious. This was the night before the wedding.

Jamie was really sick. She was so sick that we prayed that she would live. She had to have 60% of her pancreas removed. She has had tumors, too many to count. ย She still has to have scans to check on things but she is a walking and talking miracle. We prayed, He listened.

Here is a picture of the boat they made us ride on. They could have at least sprung for something a little bigger

We all love shoes. Her bride shoes were gorgeous.

It was just a little windy. How come he looks so cute and not blown at all? Then there is me. Look at the goose neck waddle. Whatever.

Steve and I sat over top of the parents. Here are mine. 62 years of wedded bliss andย ย going strong. Dad says he should get an award for being married to the same woman for so long.

This is Jamie’s Mom and Dad. Real names….Dorothy and James. However us family call them Toots and Harhoooooooooooo. I don’t know how many years they have been married but I know it’s a lot. If combined years of marriage from those in attendance means anything, they should be good to go.

Married on the front of a huge yacht…not to shabby.

Buford in the coral shirt praying over Marty and Jamie is my other cousin/sister Debbie’s husband. Marty asked Buford a few weeks ago, “How do I get what you have?” Buford then led Marty to Jesus. What a blessing you are Buford and Debbie, we love you.
