We sit here in the Emergency Department.
Again.
Soon I will know the ED personnel by first name.
Sickness saps the life out of everything. A sick person has no control. Sometimes their family has no control either.
Am I a worrier? I didn’t think so.
I had a conversation with a friend this morning. I admitted to being worried about so many new things happening and a lot of old things that I have no control of. I don’t really like change very much and things are changing everywhere.
Dad is struggling with illness. Mom is the best caregiver she can be and me……I fill in the gaps.
My friend gave me homework. She said that Satan can’t read minds so I needed to speak out 2 Timothy 1:7
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
I will write this verse on my mirror, in my car and sharpie marker it on my hand if necessary.
Sometimes all you can do is laugh.
Sick or not, you can never have too many old cars.
I’ll sit here, now in a hospital room repeating 2 Timothy 1:7. Care to join me? Come on I know you do.
Family and friends,
Dad has been admitted for an infection. He needs a couple days of IV antibiotic but we hope to be home and better soon. If you need more details, most of you have my number.
Love,
Charma

Care of him when he comes home . The doctors and nurses do
An excellent job in hospitals ! God does great on healing the sick .
