Turquoise Hutch

This turquoise hutch was originally an office cabinet. It was brown (ugly) and held my printer and office supplies. It’s a great piece, Ethan Allen and I picked it up at Goodwill. It looks so much better turquoise and lives in my dining room. I am a horrible photographer so please excuse the horrible lighting.

This bar cart was retrieved via curb side pickup. It was gold and pretty ugly. Now it’s silver and shiny and is used as a bed side table in the guest room.

Abused Black Armoire

This black armoire was once used by my kids to house their TV/DVD’s. When it was returned to me it was in sad SAD shape. I could not decide what to do with it until the Restoration Hardware magazine came in the mail. It is by far one of my favorite saves. It lives with me now.

It’s not always what you think

Take a basket.
Make the opening larger.
Use black electrical tape to hold it all together because it matches the basket.
Buy a light kit.
Ask your super hunky husband to turn it upside down and hang it.

Painted/Stained Dresser

This is the first official sale for Abandoned Furniture Salvage and Restoration. It started as a very boring, very plain unfinished dresser. I painted the shell and stained the drawers. It now lives at my neighbors house in her sons room. I love when friends love my work.
