Vintage Record Cabinet

I have been super busy with projects but most are still in the “almost done” phase. I did however complete this really cool cabinet. When it’s open, you pull out a long dining table. I have never seen anything like this before so it was a first for me. I only prepped and painted the shell of the cabinet and put on new hardware. The paint color/stain was at the owners request. It will be delivered to it’s home this weekend

Desk Chair

I found this chair at Goodwill for $5. It had great bones but needed to go into the office I am working on. It needed to be girly and match the rug that will be placed under the desk. It was painted and the seat reupholstered. I also put super cute casters so that it rolls like a real deal desk chair. Love it!

Chevron = Hard

This little table has been sitting in my garage for months and months. I just couldn’t decide what to do with it. I didn’t really have a place for it but for some reason I loved it. A sweet friend helped me tape the chevron pattern and I started painting. IT WAS HARD!!!! Too detailed for this girl. After the paint dried I thought it might look cute with a little distressing. Sandpiper + me = happy. Well hand sanding was not cutting it so I pulled out the electric sander :))))) The more I sanded the better I liked it. Then………..I sanded a little too deep and the wood started to show through. Well I LIKED IT BETTER. It’s just a cute little table.

Daily Reminders

I use the Fruits of the Spirit as my daily reminder how to act. So I made a sign from leftover fence boards and hung it in my office. No excuses

Times-a- tickin’

I saw a clock in Ballard Designs that I loved and wanted for our back patio. $300…… I don’t think so. I found a wooden lazy Susan at the weigh and pay for $3.00. A little creativity and poof I have a clock.

Very Entertaining

This Entertainment Center was sawed up (thank you sweet husband) reconfigured and painted/stained. It does not even remotely look like the original piece of furniture. And you you gotta love the boxes made out of cedar sticks

In my past life, I was an office cabinet

This turquoise hutch was originally an office cabinet. It was brown (ugly) and held my printer and office supplies. It’s a great piece, Ethan Allen and I picked it up at Goodwill. It looks so much better turquoise and lives in my dining room.

Not your typical bar cart

This bar cart was retrieved via curb side pickup. It was gold and pretty ugly. Now it’s silver and shiny and is used as a bed side table in the guest room.

A Favorite.

This black armoire was once used by my kids to house their TV/DVD’s. When it was returned to me it was in sad SAD shape. I could not decide what to do with it until the Restoration Hardware magazine came in the mail. I love how it turned it turned out.
